Just a reminder that there is a boat and fishing show this weekend at the fairgrounds in the MB&T merchant building. Or is it called Expo Center now, think it is.

Price is only $5 to get in, and the show will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Doors will open and close the same times both days, 9 am till 5 pm.  Looking forward to seeing what is available as far as seminar content.

There will be free seminars that cover everything from tossing bugs in the streams and rivers of Michigan for trout and salmon, to getting the newest ideas on catching walleye on the big lakes.  There will be boats and lures, tackle and gear that cover 27,000 square foot.

With the economy the way it is in the Monroe County area, this type of function held at the fair grounds will help give the shops, eateries and stations a boost.  This could become a standing event and possibly make it one of the better shows in the state for years to come.
